Gyakuten Saiban 2 – Phoenix Wright: Justice for All GBA, Official Capcom English Localization | Custom GBA Cartridge

Gyakuten Saiban 2 – Phoenix Wright: Justice for All – Custom GBA Cartridge (English Fan Translation)

The second chapter of Phoenix Wright’s story, finally on real GBA hardware in English. Gyakuten Saiban 2 was released by Capcom in Japan in 2002 for Game Boy Advance, and like the first game it never received an official Western release in its GBA form — Western players only ever got the DS port under the title Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice for All in 2006.

This fan translation by Acer-2006 takes a different approach to most fan projects: rather than writing new text, it inserts the official Capcom English localization and graphics from the DS version directly into the GBA original — meaning the English text you play is word-for-word the same as the official Nintendo DS release, running on the original 2002 GBA hardware. Two versions of the patch exist, a big-bubble version with larger text boxes for easier reading and a small-bubble version that preserves the GBA’s original presentation. The ROM expands from 8MB to 16MB to accommodate all the DS localization assets.

Phoenix Wright returns with no memory of his past cases, representing new clients across four new trials while facing the sinister Prosecutor Franziska von Karma for the first time.

This is a custom-made cartridge ready to play straight out of the box.
