Celeste became one of the most celebrated indie games of its generation — a precision platformer built around wall jumps, air dashes and a story about self-belief that resonated with millions of players across PC, consoles and PICO-8. Celeste Classic is the original PICO-8 prototype by Maddy Thorson and Noel Berry that started it all, a tight, challenging platformer that distills the concept to its purest form.

This GBA homebrew port by JeffRuLz is an almost direct conversion of Celeste Classic to Game Boy Advance hardware — every level and mechanic intact, with only minor graphical alterations needed to adapt the PICO-8's visuals to the GBA screen. Wall jump precisely, air dash through screens, die a hundred times and climb back up. The game runs at full speed on real GBA hardware, with the Select button toggling screen shake and a cheat code on the title screen that unlocks a second air dash from the start if you want a different challenge.

This is a custom-made cartridge ready to play straight out of the box.
