Radikal Bikers GBC – The Cancelled Arcade Port You Never Got to Play, Now on a Real Cartridge
In 1998, Gaelco's Radikal Bikers hit arcades with a simple, irresistible premise: hop on a scooter, tear through city streets, and deliver pizza faster than anyone thought humanly possible. No speed limits. No rules. Just traffic, chaos, and increasingly desperate customers. The arcade version was a cult hit, and a PlayStation port followed in 1999. Meanwhile, Bit Managers — veterans of GBC ports — were quietly building a version for Game Boy Color.
It was never released. The project was cancelled, the prototype shelved, and Radikal Bikers on GBC simply ceased to exist — until the prototype leaked online and preservation efforts brought it back.
This cartridge puts that lost prototype on real GBC hardware, exactly as Bit Managers left it. The gameplay adapts the arcade's frantic pizza-running chaos into a top-down isometric view, racing through Paris, London, New York, and Italy while dodging trucks, cars, police, and pedestrians.
